Eyes Wide Open - Grand Opening







For the opening, we have a very NOTABLE selection of work by the following artists:
Miguel Paredes  - 30 pieces including entire Los Ninos series (with two sculptures)
Cynthia von Buhler - 10 sculptural paintings including Purify (commissioned by Clive Barker and Adam & Eve (commissioned by the Library of Congress)
Scott Bakal - entire Me +theDevil series, five additional paintings

Anita Kunz (about 10 pieces including two 30"X40")
The Corvo Brothers (five pieces from "orphans" and one new piece
Gary Taxali (5 paintings, one sculpture)
Sterling Hundley (5 paintings, no portraits, primarily personal work)
Greg Noppe (4) Pol Turgeon (4)
Ana Bagayan (one gorgeous painting)
The list goes on.....   but these are a few highlights

Special VIP preview - May 20 - about 30-50 collectors (family friends/previous clients) and art critics
Grand Opening - May 21 7pm to 10pm. - Jazz quartet, 3 artists in attendance, a few very special guests (with Miguel)

- Fashionistas have exclusive preview from 6pm to 7pm night of opening - also preview of Chesley McLaren's fashion work, staged in Storyopolis space
Justin Bua - June 20 - Sundance filming "Portrait of an Artist"   Bua and others to be miked up and cameras present -- may or may not be included in film
Kinuko Y. Craft - August 6 - Kinuko's largest exhibition in at least a decade -- retrospective including Book art, Shakespeare series, new Pandora's box works, opera/music related, editorial, personal projects, as well as her Playboy editorial work

We plan to do a show with three woman artists in September, Chesley McLaren in October/November, Holiday projects, a fabulous collaboration with the homeless shelter in January, and Laurie Lipton in February
